Chocolate Almond Gateau

1 12 oz pkg Toll house morsels (semi sweet)

3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup butter
3 eggs separated
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 all purpose flour
1/4 cup milk
2/3 cup ground almonds

Cream butter and sugar until creamy. Melt 1 cup morsels, cool to room temperature.

Add melted morels, egg yolks vanilla and salt. Gradually add milk and flour; beat well.Stir in almonds.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into batter. Spread in 9 inch spring form pan, well greased. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Pour glaze over cake.

Combine 3 tbls butter 1tbls water, 2 tbls corn syrup. bring to boil stirring constantly. Add 1 cup toll house morsels. Stir until morsels are melted and glaze is smooth.
